The weather the last few days has been nice ! Wow a warm up, the daylight is real nice. The dig out has begun. After the killer Yukon cold it was nice to get JHE up and running, charging up the batteries, warming the oils up. Moving snow big time. Cutting ice. I just love it ! Freedom, it is the only time I am free and thinking about the dig in front of me with oil running through my fingertips making it happen. A Good Day
It was about this time of year when I started to think about the snow out at the mine. I would gear up and make tracks. Food and supplies for four days. I think back on this and the work, it was crazy ! I would always go and at times Glaza came with me. Tons of snow off of roofs and things, so when you go in in the spring you have your camp and equipment to go to work with. Snow will destroy things !

I have walked 30 years behind Bob and where this man went in his little cat was unreal. Well, I am going to cut down the walking time and spend more time flying. Living wild on the land is where it all started for me, and does it feel good to be back where I started, on the land on the hunt, the hunt for GOLD !

The home of the 73oz gold nugget. The Mother Load, where the Gold Grows, and the home of the China Bar Ghost. Bob’s quest to get his gold and just what a man with a team of big men did ! Opened up a country, the Pacific over land to Yukon that put you on your way North to Alaska. Bob Wilms had the biggest balls of them all. If not for Bob we would not have the Gold Rush that is here right now 2020 ! I plan on looking and hope I have the Ghost Crew on my side to help me find my gold. A gold miner is always a gold miner.
