I have been in the mining game a very long time, a good 40 years and it’s been 30 years my home, our home has been falling down. I do my best but it was all about the mine ! When you go into the woods in the spring you’re not home until late fall and winter is right there ! This year will have been the first year I have been around home in the summer in 30 years, it’s been weird ! Helped Glaza plant all the vegetables and flowers around the home. The first for her too, she was always on the move in the summer running supplies out to me, and it’s nice to know she is off the highway and safe at home and a day off is a day off ! The time with this girl, planting and to see things grow, MAGIC !

Happy Canada Day to Canada, hope everyone is having fun and being safe. It is a beautiful day in Watson Lake Yukon today and there is a lot going on. Water and it is where we all like to be when it’s hot out and there is a boat around. The sun and water and a nice day with family ! Wow thank you Canada and a big Happy Birthday to you.

Storm Weather Tarp Town
Here we are the end of June and we have a weather warning out for us in Watson Lake Yukon. I watch weather close. Your life may depend on it ! Crazy weather can come at any time in S/E Yukon. Looked at the forecast and today we played it safe and pulled all the plants in under tarps to keep them safe if things get blowing sideways and we get the thunder lighting and the hail. We have worked hard to get things growing and would like to keep them growing and not get beat down in a big bad storm.

Rainy Days
It is here ! After a long wait it made it here ! Mr Al helped set me up and I’m back. Today is a rained out day but it’s all good. A cup of good hot coffee and the heat off the fire and the new computer, I’m flat out !
