The fire pit worked great !  We cooked up dinner on it.  Not in the old frying pan you see there. There are two side walls and with the air holes at the top of the inside it keeps the smoke and fire in the middle and the smoke and fire goes straight up.  It works well for what wood you do put on the fire, it is a nice fire for cooking on.  The cooking screen is adjustable as is the pot hook on the top for your soup pot.  It was nice to sit around the fire with Glaza and Izzi.  Howard from next door came over and he cooked up his dinner too.   Very Cool MinerMan

The old mine sign is home and in the back yard.  I went out and picked up a few things to get going on making it a back yard.  The wood cooker and chairs are from a place in town.  Just love the cooker and look forward to doing a little back yard cooking on it.  Glaza wanted to line it with fire brick so it will last forever.

Well for 30 years I ran wild in the mountains and it shows at home !  A gold miner goes to work in the spring and does not come home until the water freezes in Oct !   So when you do get home the times up on trying to get things repaired.  If you do not do it, well it just does not get done !  Wait long enough you will grow old and die waiting !  To get this repaired before the winter hit us hard.  Glaza will have a place out of the weather for her car and for me a work shop out of the -40 below winter !!! Ber it’s coming !

I have worked on my own so long now !   Well ok not on my own.   I have JHE and he is a King in the work place.  Does all the big lifting for me. Together we get it done.
