The Weight Of Snow

I have been on the move.  Snow removal off of roofs.  I was out to my old homestead and worked a few days and one more to go and I will have it done.  I like to have this out of the way so I can just forget and move on with more of the Yukon spring.  Fun things !    As I worked the day away it was old CCR tunes in my head.  All good, the snow was flying and we had the best day back where the days were long and the summers never ended.  Good to be home, it needs a little MinerMan love.

Fun In The Sun

Last weekend was Kiki Karnival a family event.  Fun in the sun.  Ski Hill was a busy place to be !  This long weekend is the 38th Annual Open Air Bonspiel Watson Lake Yukon.  This is all played out at Wye Lake Park on Wye Lake. Fun in the sun.  Nice to see the sun come out and make it a great time.  With more sun in a day it is nice to see people out enjoying the time out on the ice.  Life on the ice this weekend. Party on a !

A Miner Is Always A Miner Bob Wilms

I have stirred up the the Ghost Of China Bar ! The Home Of Bob Wilms the greatest man that lived and died on China Bar, McDame Creek BC  1923 to 1976. The Cassiar Mining District.  The home of the 73oz gold nugget.  The Mother Load, where the Gold Grows, and the home of the China Bar Ghost.  Bob’s quest to get his gold and just what a man with a team of big men did ! Opened  up a country, the Pacific over land to Yukon that put you on your way North to Alaska. Bob Wilms had the biggest balls of them all.  If not for Bob we would not have the Gold Rush that is here right now 2020 !  I plan on looking and hope I have the Ghost Crew on my side to help me find my gold.  A gold miner is always a gold miner.  Gold Is Magical
