This shot is like your going to drive off the face of the earth ! I have been the driver in this cold. Glaza is on shift work and my job is to get her there and home safe. At -48c the run from the warm shop back to the warm shop is all you what to do before it slows down and stiffens up big time ! Keeping out of the deep cold is the only way it will move when one needs to roll on it.
The Yukon cold is like no other cold ! The cold will freeze you in minuets. It is hard to wrap my head around Bob Wilms out there making 30 miles a day with a two team dogsled all their food, supplies and gear for him and the two dogs into a Cassiar country that no man had walked in ! 1923

Wow crazy, I was just saying how slippery things can be at -46c cold! Everyone was ok here but it is a good reminder to all of us how dangerous our work is everyday. Moving big things in the extreme cold. Give the operators lots of room, stay back! That is just what this crew did and everyone stayed safe. The boys will come and put it upright and with a little repair it will be as good as new.
The cold has a way of testing you ! A day or two ok. But a week or two and on, will test old and new ! The -40c Yukon cold is a time you want to make things right or look out you will be out in the cold and froze in know time. Pack the right cold gear. Work slow and safe. Everything is slippery at -46c
