I built this dog house for a dog that I have drove by on my way home. He needed a good home and he got one! It was a feel good moment for me. I had the plans for awhile. They came from an RCMP Officer that had a dog team and building houses for dogs was his thing. Three sheets ONLY of plywood and a few 2x4s and there you have it ! A Yukon Special good to -50 with an insulated floor off of the cold ground ! With a roof that lifts for cleaning, the door brakes the wind and it is a place she or he can defend right at the door with an advantage of winning the attack in the long dark nights !
