The middle of the night at around 0300 hr we were woke out of a good sleep with what seemed to be people having a party and all the honk honk going on! What is going on? Geese flying around camp ! Crazy it was ! Just about the time I was thinking they were going to land, the flapping of their wings was saying stay in the air and keep moving up the river system to the McDame Lake. That is just what they need for a rest. The fires have everything on the run ! I love my birds and hope they make out ok. It is the chat around the kitchen table this morning.
